Your guide to earning, spending, and trading with Coins and HyperGems.

Economy Overview

Coins — Default Currency

Coins are the everyday currency used for most trades, rewards, and player-to-player payments. New shops are created using Coins by default.

HyperGems — Vendor-Approved Currency

HyperGems are a premium currency used mainly for cosmetics, special perks, and curated marketplace items. Switching a shop to HyperGems requires vendor approval.

  • Not Pay-to-Win: HyperGems unlock only cosmetics and convenience. No combat advantages.
  • Trading Allowed: Players may gift, sell, or trade HyperGems in-game. Staff do not handle real-world transactions.
  • Scam Policy: Scamming another player (gems or items) is bannable and may result in a permanent ban.

Chest Shops

Chest Shops are powered by ExcellentShop (Chest Shop module). You can turn a chest into a player-run shop to buy or sell items. It’s fast, social, and driven by real supply and demand.

Why it’s great:

  • Player-driven pricing — markets emerge naturally.
  • Simple setup using in-game GUIs.
  • Premium angle — vendor-approved players may list cosmetic items for HyperGems.

Default Currency

New shops use Coins automatically.

Switching Currency

  • Vendor-Approved Only: Approved merchants can change a shop’s currency in the shop editor/GUI (permission-gated).
  • There is no standalone currency toggle command; changes are made through the editor.

When you change a shop’s currency in the editor, all transactions use the new currency immediately. However, the currency text on an older chest sign may not update. This is a visual issue only — the backend logic and balances remain correct.
